lorrimer-riley
Sarah Lorrimer-Riley is a contemporary British artist. Her work explores the human condition and the relationship between the natural world, dreamworld and one’s own internal landscape.
(Exhibitions include Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition 22, Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair 22 & Royal Cambrian Academy 23)

Sarah’s paintings explore the relationship between the natural world and one’s own internal landscape, how our thoughts, feelings and inner dialogues are reflected in the environment around us.
Work ranges from smaller vignettes, capturing transient moments that stay with you long after they have gone, to larger, dramatic works exploring the ancient dialogue between the very forces of nature and our inner world.
Sarah’s digital collage work is characterised by the playful layering of photographic elements, creating a bright, bold and sometimes unsettling alternative reality. Sarah's work invites the viewer to explore and question the narrative in focus, holding a magnifying glass on to modern British Society.
