The Lunar Collection

The Lunar Collection is a year-long exploration of the twelve full moons, painted as a way of tracing subtle shifts in light, colour and seasonal rhythm. Each work holds a moment within the wider cycle of the year, a quiet mapping of how the moon's steady presence threads through our lived experience, marking time in ways both intimate and universal.

Across these paintings, luminous rings, gestural marks and layered surfaces echo the changing atmosphere of each moon. Some arrive in bright clarity, others in muted light or deep winter stillness. Together, they form a visual calendar of renewal, rest, movement and return.

This collection brings together large-scale canvases and smaller studies, each one created as a response to the moon’s cyclical pull and its quiet power to connect us to the natural world, to one another and to our own inner seasons.
