This minimalistic map of London is hand finished with genuine 24 carat gold leaf marking out the flow of the River Thames.  
 
I have been fascinated by maps since childhood and really love the meditative process of 'gilding the river' bringing it to life.  Each piece is a totally unique piece of art in its own right due to the process.  I particularly love the way that the gold catches the light at different times of day. 
 
Each map is giclée printed professionally on museum quality paper using archival pigmented inks. Meaning that they should last a lifetime (and more) with the right care.
